UPDATE: NOW OPEN TO TRAFFIC!

LA 86 at the Daspit Bridge in Iberia Parish will be closed to vehicular and marine traffic on Thursday, September 12 at 6:30 a.m. until Friday, September 13 at 7:00 p.m., weather permitting.

This closure is necessary to allow crews to perform bridge inspection and repairs.

The detour consists of LA 31, LA 92, and LA 347.

Emergency vehicles will not have access to the area.
