DOTD announces an upcoming Highway Construction Project on LA 374 from LA 13 to Headless Bridge Road in Evangeline Parish, SPN H.012969.6

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announces that beginning Tuesday, September 10, construction will begin on a $1.5 million project on LA 374 from LA 13 to Headless Bridge Road in Evangeline Parish.
The work is estimated to take place Mondays through Fridays from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., weather permitting.
There will be intermittent and one lane closures throughout the project. The road will be open to regular traffic with a 12-foot maximum lane restriction on oversized loads passing through the work zone.
The project will include milling asphalt concrete, subgrade and base reconstruction, new asphalt pavement, rumble strips, striping, and related work.
Emergency vehicles will have access to this area.
The project is estimated for completion in December 2019.
