Westbound LA 611-1 (River Road), between Arnoult Road and Highway Drive, in Metairie, single lane closure with flagging operation recurring daily from Monday August 26th to Friday August 30th from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, while crews excavate to examine locations for new drainage structures.
This closure will allow vehicles 11-feet wide or smaller to pass through the construction zone. Road is open for regular traffic.
No detour is needed, expect some delays.
DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction/maintenance site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
