There will be daily intermittent lane closures of the southbound lane on LA 25 between Rosa Cryer Street and Garfield Street, beginning Monday morning, August 26, 2019, at 7:00 AM through Friday evening, August 30, 2019, at 5:00 PM. No closures Saturday, August 31st, Sunday, September 1st, and Monday, September 2nd (Labor Day). And will resume Tuesday morning, September 3, 2019 at 7:00 AM through Monday morning, September 9, 2019, at 7:00 AM. During the daily lane closures, the contractor plans to continue working on subsurface drainage; constructing the sidewalks and asphalt widening, weather permitting. One lane will be open at all times.
There will be nightly lane closures of the southbound lane on LA 25 between Jackson Street and Rosewood Drive, beginning Tuesday night, September 3, 2019, through Monday morning, September 9, 2019, between the hours of 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM. During the nightly lane closures, the contractor plans to place asphalt on the roadway, weather permitting. One lane will be open at all times.
Permit/Detour Section
Oversize loads over 10 feet wide are not allowed. Emergency vehicles will have access.
Motorists traveling northbound may use alternate routes such as LA 437 north to LA 16, west on LA 16 to LA 25.
Motorists traveling southbound may use alternate routes such as LA 25 to LA 16, east on LA 16 to LA 437, south on LA 437 to US 190.
