LA 1 & LA 401 Emergency Drainage Repair Assumption Parish, Intermittent Lane Closures
Construction for State Project H.013871 LA 1 & LA 401 in Assumption Parish for a length of 0.075 miles. The type of work required is replacing drainage structures, asphalt pavement, embankment and related work.
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that there will be intermittent lane closure at the intersection of LA 1 and LA 401 with a flagging operation on August 23, 2019. This closure is necessary in order for the contractor to pave a 2-inch asphalt concrete overlay. The area of the overlay is a 40’x40’ area of LA 1 including a portion of the westbound lane of LA 401. No oversize loads wider than 12’ will be able to pass during this closure.
