Jefferson Hwy (LA 73) will have alternating lane closures beginning Thursday, August 1st, and continuing through Tuesday, September 3rd, 2019, between the intersections of Airline Hwy (US 61) and Tiger Bend. Closures times will be from 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM and 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM Monday to Friday. Weekend closures will also take place from 8:00 PM Friday to 5:00 AM Monday. One lane of travel will be maintained at all times.
These closures are necessary for sealing cracks, removing and repairing concrete sidewalk, and repairing concrete curb and gutter.
These closures are subject to change due to adverse weather conditions.
