EXTENDED - Eastbound On Ramp of I-10 at I-49 Northbound, Lafayette Parish, Ramp Closure

UPDATE: Due to weather delays, this closure has been extended to Friday, August 2 at 11 p.m. until Saturday, August 3 at 2 a.m., weather permitting.
The eastbound on ramp of I-10 at I-49 northbound will be closed on Thursday, August 1 at 11 p.m. until Friday, August 2 at 2 a.m., weather permitting.
This closure is necessary for the upcoming I-10 eastbound traffic swap.
The detour route for I-49 northbound traffic attempting to get on I-10 eastbound will be through the I-49/I-10 cloverleaf ramps.
The $124.7 million I-10 widening project will involve widening a 7.11-mile section from I-49 to Breaux Bridge (State Project Number H.003003). The project will include pavement replacement within the existing lanes and the construction of one additional lane in each direction along I-10 from I-49 to LA 328 (Breaux Bridge).
The project began in May 2017 and is estimated for completion in April 2020.
