LA 3038 (Cornerview): Rehab & Turn Lane, Road Closure, Ascension Parish **DUE TO WEATHER DATES HAVE CHANGED**
Construction has begun for State Project H.010640 LA 3038 Cornerview in Ascension Parish for a length of 0.455 miles. The type of work required is grading, drainage structures, lime treatment, in-place cement stabilized base course, asphalt concrete pavement, asphalt surface treatment, milling asphalt pavement, and related work.
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that there will be a full road closure of Cornerview St. between N. Edenborn Ave. and S. Francois Ave. with a detour crossing Cornerview St. at Irma Ave. to access Weber St. for local traffic. This closing is to allow the contractor to place and process the subgrade layer in preparation for asphalt. We anticipate this closure to be July 31st – August 6th, weather permitting. No permit or oversize loads along with emergency vehicles will be able to pass during this closure.
