LA 935 and LA 621 at LA 44 Signal Work Delays

Construction is ongoing for State Project H.009956 LA 44: Turn Lanes is in Ascension Parish for a length of 1.235 miles. The type of work is clearing and grubbing, grading, drainage structures, milling asphalt pavement, pavement patching, class II base course, lime treatment, portland cement concrete pavement, asphalt concrete pavement, drilled shaft foundations, traffic signalization, and related work at a cost of $3,501,304.95.

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that there will be traffic delays and intermittent lane closures involving the intersections of LA 44/LA 935 and LA 44/LA 621. These intermittent lane closures will occur over the next two weeks beginning Wednesday, July 24th, from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. Crews will be onsite in order to relocate utilities and install new signal heads at the intersections. Flaggers and appropriate signage will be onsite in order to facilitate and direct traffic.
