There will be daily intermittent lane closures of the southbound lane on LA 25 between Rosa Cryer Street and Garfield Street, beginning Monday morning, July 1, 2019, at 7:00 AM through Wednesday evening, July 3, 2019, at 5:00 PM, and Monday morning, July 8, 2019 at 7:00 AM through Monday morning, July 15, 2019, at 7:00 AM. There will be no closures Thursday, July 4th, through Sunday, July 7th, for Independence Day and through the weekend. The contractor plans to continue working on subsurface drainage, weather permitting. One lane will be open at all times.
Permit/Detour Section
Oversize loads over 10 feet wide are not allowed. Emergency vehicles will have access.
Motorists traveling northbound may use alternate routes such as LA 437 north to LA 16, west on LA 16 to LA 25.
Motorists traveling southbound may use alternate routes such as LA 25 to LA 16, east on LA 16 to LA 437, south on LA 437 to US 190.
