LA 1 & LA 401 Emergency Drainage Repair, Assumption Parish, Road Closure **UPDATE**

LA 1 & LA 401 Emergency Drainage Repair **UPDATE: Dates have been rescheduled**
Construction for State Project H.013871 LA 1 & LA 401 in Assumption Parish for a length of 0.075 miles. The type of work required is replacing drainage structures, asphalt pavement, embankment and related work. The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that there will be a road closure on LA 1 North of LA 401 with a detour.
The detour will send motorists traveling South on LA 1 to LA 1008 (Franklin Ave.) to LA 308 to cross Bayou Lafourche at LA 1010 to access LA 401. This road closure will take place Thursday July 25th starting at 6:30 am until Monday July 29th at 5:00 pm. Closure will be at a spot location to remove and replace the subsurface cross drain. No permit or oversize loads along with emergency vehicles will be able to pass during this closure.
