LA 642 (ST. JAMES PARISH) – A railroad closure will take place on LA 642 on Wednesday, June 26, 2019 from 6:00 AM to 6:00 AM, Thursday, June 27, 2019. No thru traffic will be allowed to pass during this railroad closure.
The closure will be 0.1 miles north of LA 44.
The closure for repairs to be made to the railroad crossing.
Alternates routes are available. Motorists traveling Southbound should take LA 642 to LA 3125 then LA 3193 to LA 44 back to LA 642. Northbound travelers should take LA 642 to LA 44 east to LA 3193 then north to LA 3125 and west to LA 642.
