On LA 959 (Blairstown Road), in the Blairstown/Bluff Creak area, between LA 67 and LA 409, approximately 200ft East of Sam Talbert Road, there will be a road closure beginning Friday, February 26th at 4:00PM in order for the contractor to remove and replace a cross drain under the existing roadway. The road is expected to re-open by 5:00 AM of Monday, February 28th.
UPDATE: Due to an unforeseen utility issue, the contractor is unable to complete the work as scheduled. Demco is scheduled to make the needed repairs next week. The expected inclement weather may also further delay the completion of this work. The road closure is now expected to be from Friday, February 26th through Friday, March 5th.
Emergency vehicles will not be able to pass through the work site.
Traffic will be detoured using LA 63 and LA 67.
