UPDATE - LA 58 DRAINAGE CANAL BRIDGE - OPEN TO VEHICULAR TRAFFIC

The Drainage Canal Bridge on LA 58 located approximately 0.4 mile east of JCT LA 56/LA 58 (Sara Bridge) and approximately 1.2 miles west of JCT LA 55/LA 58 (Montegut Bridge) is closed to thru traffic until further notice. This closure is required due to a failure of one (1) of the timber foundation piles.
Available detour route(s) around the closure is as follows:
West on LA 58 to LA 56, west to LA 24, east to LA 55, south to Montegut, LA
Or
East on LA 58 to LA 55, north to LA 24, west to LA 56, east to Chauvin, LA
