Government St. (LA 73) will have alternating lane closures in both directions beginning Wednesday, August 21, and continuing through Monday, September 23, 2019.
Closures will be located at two sections. One lane of travel will be maintained in both directions at all times.
Section 1: Between the intersections of Eugene St. and S. Acadian Thruway
Section 2: Between the intersections of Jefferson Hwy and Lobdell Ave.
These closures are necessary for saw cutting, removal of existing pavement, removal and replacement of sidewalk and curb, and concrete pavement patching.
These closures are subject to change due to adverse weather conditions.
