The water has receeded and the roadway is now open.
EMERGENCY ROAD CLOSURE - LA 436-1 WASHINGTON PARISH
LA 436-1 at Pushepatapa Creek is closed due to high water over the roadway. Motorists should avoid this area until further notice.
DETOUR: North and southbound motorists may use LA 21 as an alternate route.
LADOTD reminds motorists to drive safely and be on the lookout for crews and possible high water over the roadways.
