There will be alternating, intermittent closures of the intersection of Robert Road (LA 1091) and Brownswitch Road in Slidell on Sunday night, November 3, 2013 through Thursday morning, November 7, 2013, between 8:00 PM and 5:00 AM, while crews install asphalt (weather permitting).

Permit/Detour Section

During this time there will be limited access to larger vehicles, but one lane will remain open at all times.

Only the intersection will be closed.  Both LA 1091 (Robert Road) and Brownswitch Road will be open to local traffic up to the intersection.  Emergency vehicles will have access.

During construction, to avoid the closure, eastbound motorists on Brownswitch Road may take US 11 North to Southbound LA 1090 (Military Road) to Brownswitch Road.  Westbound motorists on Brownswitch Road may take Northbound LA 1090 (Military Road) to Southbound US 11 to Brownswitch Road.

Southbound motorists on LA 1091 (Robert Road) may take US 11 South to US 190 (Gause Boulevard) to LA 1091 (Robert Road).  Northbound motorists on LA 1091 (Robert Road) may take US 190 to US 11 to LA 1091 (Robert Road).
