LA 328 (Rees Street) northbound and southbound under I-10 overpass will be closed nightly beginning Monday, April 29 at 8 p.m. until Wednesday, May 1 at 6 a.m., weather permitting.

This closure is necessary to allow the contractor to work on the overpass.

The detour for northbound traffic will be I-10 eastbound to Exit 115 - LA 347 then I-10 westbound to Exit 109 - LA 328 to continue north.

The detour for southbound traffic will be I-10 westbound to Exit 104 - Louisiana Avenue then I-10 eastbound to Exit 109 - LA 328 to continue south.

The $124.7 million I-10 widening project will involve widening a 7.11-mile section from I-49 to Breaux Bridge (State Project Number H.003003). The project will include pavement replacement within the existing lanes and the construction of one additional lane in each direction along I-10 from I-49 to LA 328 (Breaux Bridge).

The project began in May 2017 and is estimated for completion in fall 2019.
