8/19/19 The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that LA 546 at Booker Branch near Chad Lane in Ouachita Parish will have lane closures in the eastbound and westbound lanes from 8:30 AM to 2:00 PM August 21, 2019.
The traffic will be maintained through the use of flaggers to assist with travel through this area during working hours.
UPDATE: 8/13/19 The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that LA 546 at Booker Branch near Chad Lane in Ouachita Parish will be OPEN to through traffic beginning at 7:00 AM August 14, 2019.
This closure will have been located about 0.5 miles north of the LA 151 and LA 546 intersection.
Note that construction crews are still working in this area, so be aware of the workers and flaggers as they continue to work in this area.
UPDATE: 4/16/19 The road will remain closed until the box culvert and roadway at this location have been repaired.
Motorists are reminded never to drive around ‘road closed’ barricades, or through standing or running water.
Alternate route: Detour signs have been placed to assist with going from LA 546 to LA 151 and I-20 to LA 546.
