DOTD announces an upcoming Road Construction Project on LA 82 from LA 333 to LA 330 in Vermilion Parish, SPN H.013529

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announces that beginning Tuesday, April 2, construction will begin on a $1.26 million project on LA 82 from LA 333 to LA 330 in Vermilion Parish.
The work is estimated to take place on weekdays from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., weather permitting.
There will be alternating lane closures throughout the duration of the project with minimal delays expected.
The road will be open to regular traffic with a 14-foot lane restriction on oversized loads passing through the work zone for the duration of the project.
Emergency vehicles will have access to the area.
The project will include milling asphalt pavement, pavement patching, thin lift asphalt overlay, and other related work.
The project is estimated for completion by Summer 2019.
