DOTD announces the start of a Road Construction Project on LA 92 from the north junction of LA 700 to LA 343 in Vermilion Parish, SPN H.011582

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announces that beginning Monday, March 25, a road construction project estimated at $3.7 million will begin on LA 92 from the north junction of LA 700 to LA 343 in Vermilion Parish.
The work is estimated to take place on weekdays from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., weather permitting.
There will be alternating lane closures throughout the duration of the project with minimal delays expected.
The road will be open to regular traffic with a 10-foot lane restriction on oversized loads passing through the work zone for the duration of the project.
Emergency vehicles will have access to the area.
The project will include milling the existing surfacing, reconstruction of the subgrade and base course, asphalt overlay, and other related work.
The project is estimated for completion in Fall 2019.
