UPDATE: The lane closure scheduled for Saturday, February 23, has been cancelled. The closure will begin on Sunday, February 24, weather permitting. Thank you for your patience.

US 90 eastbound between LA 182 overpass and Ambassador Caffery Parkway in Broussard, Lafayette Parish, will be reduced to one lane beginning Saturday, February 23 until Tuesday, February 26, to allow crews to install overhead signs on US 90.

This closure is estimated to take place daily from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., weather permitting.

Emergency vehicles will have access to the area.

As part of the Geaux South program, current work underway is related to the $57.1 million design-build project that involves widening US 90 to six-lanes from Albertson Parkway to north of the Ambassador Caffery intersection. The project will also construct an overpass along US 90 above Albertson Parkway, a new railroad overpass and modify the adjacent frontage roads. Work on the project is slated for completion in spring 2019.
