Senator Ted Hickey/Seabrook Bridge closed throughout January

New Orleans, La. – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announced today that the Senator Ted Hickey/Seabrook Bridge over the Industrial Canal will be closed throughout the remainder of January. All eastbound and westbound lanes will be fully closed so that crews can make mechanical repairs to the bridge. The bridge is anticipated to reopen to traffic on January 30, weather permitting.

Motorists are encouraged to use U.S. 90 (Danziger Bridge) along Chef Menteur Highway or Interstate 10 (High Rise Bridge) to cross the Inner Harbor Navigation Canal.
