ROAD OPEN: LA 818 / LINCOLN PARISH

LA 818 was reopened to through traffic today, 1/28/19. Construction activities will continue for the next few weeks, weather permitting.
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD), advises the public that beginning Monday, January 7, 2019, LA 818 will be closed until further notice to thru traffic approximately 0.300 miles north of its junction with LA 3012 (W Barnet Springs Ave.) and 0.380 miles south of its junction with LA 150 (W MLK Jr. Ave.).
This road closure is necessary to allow for a cross drain replacement.
Permit/Detour Section
Detour routes will be provided as follows:
Northbound - LA 3012/W Barnet Springs Ave. East to LA 544 North to LA 150/W MLK Jr. Ave. West
Southbound – LA 150/W MLK Jr. Ave. East to LA 544 South to LA 3012/W Barnet Springs Ave. West
