REOPENED - EMERGENCY LANE CLOSURE: I-20 westbound over M.P. Railroad, Caddo Parish


UPDATE: Repairs are complete and this lane has been REOPENED.

Original notification:

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that the left lane of I-20 westbound over the M.P. Railroad tracks in Greenwood, Caddo Parish is closed effective immediately for emergency bridge deck repairs.

This lane closure will be in effect until further notice while crews complete these repairs.

This bridge is located 2.35 miles west of LA 526.

Motorists are advised that congestion may occur as a result of this lane closure, as this area is part of an ongoing construction project on I-20. Please be aware of conditions, and drive with additional caution.

Restrictions/Permits: N/A

This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.
