US 90 eastbound between South Girouard Road and Albertsons Parkway will have alternating lane closures on Saturday, November 17 and Sunday, November 18, for construction.

This closure is estimated to take place each day from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., weather permitting.

Additionally, US 90 eastbound between the LA 182 overpass and Ambassador Caffery Parkway will have alternating lane closures on Saturday, November 17 and Sunday, November 18, for construction.

Emergency vehicles will have access to the area.

As part of the Geaux South program, current work underway is related to the $57.1 million design-build project that involves widening US 90 to six-lanes from Albertson Parkway to north of the Ambassador Caffery intersection. The project will also construct an overpass along US 90 above Albertson Parkway, a new railroad overpass and modify the adjacent frontage roads. Work on the project is slated for completion in spring 2019.
