LA 176 (Moss Street) north and southbound under I-10 will be closed on Friday, November 16, to allow crews to pour the westbound deck.

This closure is estimated to take place from 2 a.m. to 6 a.m., weather permitting.

The detour for south bound traffic will be LA 98 (East Gloria Switch Road) to I-49 south to East Simcoe Street to LA 176 (Moss Street) southbound.

The detour for northbound traffic will be East Simcoe Street to I-49 north to LA 98 (East Gloria Switch Road) to LA 176 (Moss Street) northbound.

The $124.7 million I-10 widening project will involve widening a 7.11-mile section from I-49 to Breaux Bridge (State Project Number H.003003). The project will include pavement replacement within the existing lanes and the construction of one additional lane in each direction along I-10 from I-49 to LA 328 (Breaux Bridge).

The project began in May 2017 and is estimated for completion in fall 2019.
