Terrebonne Parish- La 58 -Montegut Bridge

The Montegut Bridge on LA 58 crossing Bayou Terrebonne in Montegut, LA will be closed to vehicular traffic beginning at 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday November 14, 2018 until 5:00 a.m. on Thursday November 15, 2018. This closure is needed in order to allow LADOTD’s contractor to perform electrical repairs to the bridge. For the duration of the closure, the bridge will be inoperable with the span in the down position. During the aforementioned vehicular closure, the bridge will only be available for passage of emergency vehicles in route to an emergency situation.
Available detour route(s) around the closure is as follows:
West on LA 58 to LA 56 west, to LA 24 east, to LA 55 south to Montegut, LA
Or
North on LA 55 to LA 24 west, to LA 56 east, to LA 58 east to Montegut, LA
