UPDATE: The westbound outside lane and shoulder of LA 29 (Whiteville Road) between I-49 and Eldrige Lane is NOW OPEN!

The westbound outside lane and shoulder of LA 29 (Whiteville Road) between I-49 and Eldrige Lane will be closed beginning Thursday, September 20 at 7 a.m. until Thursday, October 18 at 4 p.m., weather permitting.

This closure is necessary to allow crews to make bridge repairs.

The road will be open to regular traffic with a 18 foot lane restriction on oversized loads passing through the work zone.
