LANE CLOSURE: LA 511 (Jimmie Davis Hwy) Bridge over Red River, Caddo & Bossier Parishes


The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that on Saturday, September 29, 2018 and Sunday, September 30, 2018, the LA 511 (Jimmie Davis Hwy) Bridge over the Red River in Caddo and Bossier Parishes will be reduced to one lane for inspection of specific bridge components.

This lane closure is expected to take place from 6:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. each day.

The Jimmie Davis Bridge is located approximately 0.7 miles west of US 71.

Alternate route: This closure will allow vehicles 10 feet wide or smaller to pass through the bridge inspection zone. Larger vehicles must detour using LA 1, LA 3032, and US 71.
