**UPDATE: LA 822 ROAD CLOSURE DUE TO AMMONIA LEAK CLEANUP**

LA 822 CLOSED BETWEEN LA 33 AND BARTLETT ROAD


The Lincoln Parish Office of Homeland Security & Emergency Prepardness along with the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) advises the public that as of today, Spetember 18, 2018, LA 822 between LA 33 and Bartlett Road will be closed until further notice. This closure will allow crews to burn off remaining residue from the ammonia pipeline leak and make any necessary repairs. Local residents outside the 1000-ft radius are being allowed to return to their homes, but no access through the work site is allowed.

Pipeline officials are hopeful this operation will be completed by Thursday, September 20, 2018.
