The inside left turn lane of US 90 eastbound at Albertsons Parkway will be closed on Friday, September 14, to realign the temporary concrete barriers.

This work is estimated to take place from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m., weather permitting.

Emergency vehicles will have access to the area.

As part of the Geaux South program, current work underway is related to the $57.1 million design-build project that involves widening US 90 to six-lanes from Albertson Parkway to north of the Ambassador Caffery intersection. The project will also construct an overpass along US 90 above Albertson Parkway, a new railroad overpass and modify the adjacent frontage roads. Work on the project is slated for completion in summer 2018.
