LA 42 Widening and Improvements, Lane Closures, Ascension Parish

Construction has begun for State Project H.002370, LA 42 Widening. The project consists of grading, drainage structures, subgrade treatment, drilled shaft foundations, traffic signalization, landscaping, asphalt concrete pavement, portland cement concrete pavement, and related work in Ascension Parish.
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that there will be a lane closure with flagging operation at LA 42 near LA 73 intersection across Oak Grove Church. Work in this area consists of the installation of subsurface drainage crossing LA 42. Work will be take place September 15, 2018 from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm. No permit or oversize loads along with emergency vehicles will be able to pass.
