The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (LADOTD) and the Federal Highway Administration (FWHA) are conducting an Environmental analysis for proposed improvements to LA 1088 between LA 59 and the I-12 interchange west bound ramps. The total length of the proposed project is approximately 3.5 miles. The Preferred Alternative includes constructing roundabouts, highway widening, sidewalks, and medians. The LADOTD encourages the public to attend a Public Hearing at the following time and Place:

Informational handouts, maps and graphic displays will be available at the hearing. A looping presentation will be shown describing the project, impacts, and acquisition of right-of-way. This hearing also serves as an additional opportunity for coordination with Section 106 Consulting Parties. Representatives from LADOTD, FHWA, and the consultant team will be present to receive comments and discuss issues. Verbal comments will be recorded. Written statements will be received at the hearing and can also be mailed to the address shown below. Written statements received at the hearing or mailed to the address below, if post-marked by October 21, 2018 will become part of the record of this hearing.
