DOTD announces upcoming highway construction project on I-49 Northbound Exit Ramp @ LA 98 (Gloria Switch Road), Lafayette Parish, SPN H.012287.6

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announces that beginning Thursday, September 6, construction will begin on a $570,000 project on the I-49 Northbound Exit Ramp @ LA 98 (Gloria Switch Road) in Lafayette Parish.
The work is estimated to take place Monday to Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., weather permitting.
The road will be open to regular traffic with a 14-foot lane restriction on oversized loads passing through the work zone.
The project will include subgrade treatment, drainage structures, milling asphaltic concrete, asphaltic concrete overlay, Portland cement concrete pavement, traffic signalization, and related work.
The project is estimated for completion in January, 2019.
