ALL-WAY STOP TO BE INSTALLED ON LA 14 AT ITS INTERSECTION WITH LA 397 – CALCASIEU PARISH
All-way stop control will be installed on LA 14 at its intersection with LA 397 (Ward Line Rd) tomorrow, September 4, 2018.
Motorists on LA 14 will be required to make a complete stop prior to entering the intersection at LA 397/Ward Line Road effective tomorrow. A recently completed traffic study showed the signage would be a low-cost safety improvement for the intersection.
Portable changeable message signs (PCMS), rumble strips, and stop ahead warning signs equipped with flags and flashing amber lights will be installed on LA 14 at the approaches to the intersection informing motorists of the stop condition ahead.
