The right lane and shoulder of I-10 westbound from mile marker 128.0 to mile marker 126.9 (Whiskey Bay Bridge) will be closed the night of Wednesday, August 29, from 8:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m., weather permitting.

This closure is necessary to allow crews to remove the containment system used for cleaning, blasting, and painting the bridge.

The exit and on ramp will be open to traffic.
