NOW OPEN - DOTD announces temporary closure of Butte LaRose boat landing in St. Martin Parish

UPDATE: This closure of the Butte LaRose boat landing is NOW OPEN. Thank you for your patience.

HENDERSON, LA - The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announces that beginning Thursday, August 9, at 9 p.m., the Butte LaRose boat landing near the Atchafalaya Welcome Center in St. Martin Parish will be closed until further notice due to the low water levels caused by the drawdown at Henderson Lake.

The Department apologizes for any inconvenience to the public.
