Beginning Monday, September 23, 2013, LA 686 will be closed for the replacement of a bridge south of the intersection of Cecil Watkins Road and LA 686.  Cecil Watkins Road will also be closed at its intersection with LA 686.

No through traffic will be allowed during construction.  The work is expected to take approximately 3 months, weather-permitting. 

The work site along LA 686 between Huron Road and Moise Mallett Road - which has been closed for construction – will be open to traffic on Monday September 23, 2013.
