LA 339 (Verot School Road) will be closed from Failla Road to Rue Louis XIV in both directions beginning Saturday, July 21 at 8 p.m. until Sunday, July 22 at 8 a.m., to allow construction crews to implement the switching of traffic from the existing asphalt roadway to the newly paved concrete roadway.
Additionally, all turning movements along this section of LA 339 (Verot School Road) will be right in and right out only. Left turns will be restricted to and from LA 339 except at Rue Louis XIV/Ashy Road, which is now open to traffic. As more intersections are constructed throughout this section of roadway, they will be opened to allow full access at that time.
Traffic will not be allowed to cross Verot School Road at Camellia Boulevard/Artisan Road.
This traffic pattern will remain in effect for approximately 2 months while construction crews complete the intersection at Camellia Boulevard and other intersections. As intersections are completed, traffic will be given access to the route.
DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
