The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD), advises the public that LA 28 Service Road at Georgetown Dr. and Virginia Ave., has been closed to thru traffic from 7:30am on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 until 5:00pm on Tuesday, July 17, 2018. The work being done is to accommodate the City of Alexandria drainage work 0.17 miles West of US 71.
Permit/Detour Section
Westbound Service Road traffic will detour right onto US 71 (MacArthur Dr) then right onto LA 28 then right onto LA 28 Service Road. Eastbound Service Road traffic will detour left onto LA 28 then left onto US 71 (MacArthur Dr.) then left onto LA 28/US71 Service Road.
