US 165 NB; Rapides Parish
Mile Post 67.271; Control Section 014-16

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) advise the public that US 165 Northbound, Rapides Parish, will have the right lane closed at the Indian Creek Bridge. The work is being done at milepost 67.271 and is on control section 014-06.
The lane closure will be Saturday June 16, 2018 at 12:00 PM with a reopen on Saturday June 23, 2018 at 8:00 PM. The closure is for Union Pacific to unload and set piling for a bridge under the Union Pacific Railroad tracks.
Permit/Detour Section
One lane of traffic will remain open to traffic during this time. Contractor has been instructed to open roadway (both lanes) to any oversize loads or emergency agencies that may come thru the lane closure due to short notice of the lane closure.
