LA 440 @ Gill Creek Bridge, the road will be closed from Wednesday, September 11, 2013 to Monday, December 2, 2013, while crews prepare the area for bridge replacement. 

Detour routes are as follows:

·         Eastbound motorists may take LA 1057, travel East to LA 1061, then South to re-intersect with LA 440.

·         Westbound motorists may take LA 1061, travel North to LA 1057, then travel West to re-intersect with LA 440.
