DOTD announces upcoming highway construction project on LA 3172 from LA 694 to LA 335 in Vermilion Parish

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announces that beginning Monday, May 21, construction will begin on a $630,000 project on LA 3172 (Pumping Plant Road) from LA 694 to LA 335 in Vermilion Parish.

The work is estimated to take place daily from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., weather permitting.

The road will be open to regular traffic with a 10-foot width restriction for the duration of this project.

The project will include milling asphalt pavement, base course rehabilitation, asphaltic concrete overlay and related work.

The project is estimated for completion in late Summer of 2018.
