LA 3064 to LA 1248 (Phases 1 & 2)
(also known as Dijon Extension)
East Baton Rouge Parish
This notice is to inform the public that the City has requested that Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (LADOTD) change the construction sequencing for the Dijon Extension project.
Originally, the project was proposed to be completed in two (2) sequential construction phases. The project is now planned to be separated into three (3) distinct construction phases by moving the construction of Midway Boulevard to its own construction project. This means that the extension of Dijon from Essen Lane to Bluebonnet Blvd. would be under construction or completed prior to starting the construction of Midway Boulevard. This change is being implemented in order to accommodate and optimize project construction funding. The alignment has not changed and more information about the project is available in the Environmental Assessment online at LADOTD’s web site.
