DOTD announces the start of a Road Construction Project on LA 685 from LA 330 to Aldes Road in Vermilion Parish, SPN H.012038

UPDATE: The estimated completion of this project is extended until mid November 2018. Thank you for your patience.

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announces that beginning Monday, May 7, construction will begin on a $3.3 million project on LA 685 from LA 330 to Aldes Road in Vermilion Parish.

The work is estimated to take place daily from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., weather permitting.

The road will be open to regular traffic with a 10-foot width restriction for the duration of this project.

The project will include cold planning, base course rehabilitation, asphaltic concrete overlay and related work.

The project is estimated for completion in late Summer of 2018.
