UPDATE: THIS WORK HAS BEEN CANCELLED.
I-10 westbound from Atchafalaya River Bridge (mile marker 122.6) to the Atchafalaya Welcome Center (mile marker 121.9) – the right lane and shoulder will be closed nightly beginning Wednesday, April 25 through Saturday, April 28, to allow crews to setup containment systems for cleaning, blasting and painting the bridge.
The exit and on ramp will be open to traffic. During the lane closure the speed limit will be reduced to 50 mph.
