The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD), advises the public that LA 500 is open to all thru traffic, 0.1 miles west of its intersection with LA 1230.

La 500: 0.1 mile west of the LA 1230 intersection

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD), advises the public that on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at 8:00 am, LA 500 will be closed 0.1 miles west of its intersection with LA 1230. The intent of this closure is to install a 24 inch corrugated metal pipe. This closure is expected to last approximately 8 hours.
Permit/Detour Section
The roadway will be closed to all traffic for the duration of the pipe replacement. There will not be a detoured route.
Northbound Detour: US 165 North to LA 500
Southbound Detour: US 165 South to LA 500
