UPDATE – REOPENED: LA 527 bridge over Flat River in Bossier Parish


UPDATE: The LA 527 bridge over Flat River in Bossier Parish has been REOPENED.

Original notification:

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that beginning Thursday, January 11, 2018 at 8:30 am, the LA 527 bridge over Flat River near Taylortown in Bossier Parish will be closed for piling repairs.

The work is expected to last approximately eight (8) weeks, weather permitting. This bridge is located approximately 0.51 miles east of the junction of US 71.

Alternate Route: Total road closure. ALL vehicles must detour using US 71, I-20, LA 157, LA 527.

Restrictions/Permits: N/A

This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.
