SUBJECT:  Lane/Ramp Closures on I-20, West and East Bound Bridge over Red River, Bossier and Caddo Parishes, Routine Bridge Inspection

This is to advise that on Tuesday, August 13, 2013, the I-20 west bound bridge over Red River, in Bossier parish, will be restricted to two (2) lanes of traffic for one (1) day between the hours of 9 am to 11 am.  In addition, the west bound on ramp from LA 72 (Barksdale Blvd.) and I-20 west bound off ramps to Spring Street and Market Street will be closed.

The I-20 east bound bridge over the Red River, in Caddo parish will be restricted to two (2) lanes of traffic for one (1) day between the hours of 11:30 am to 3 pm. In addition, the LA 1 (Youree Dr.) north on ramp to I-20 east bound and the LA 1 & US 71 (Market Street) on ramp to I-20 east bound will be closed.

The bridge is located approximately 2.0 miles east of I-49. This closure is for routine bridge inspection.

Alternate Route:

This closure will allow vehicles 14 feet wide or smaller to pass through the bridge inspection zone. Larger vehicles must detour using I-220.
